Since hiring Proterra I’ve had no insects in my house. They always give a heads up days before the appointment and 30 min. before they come to the house and shop. I didn’t realize this until I actually saw it but my tech Emilio was removing cob webs from all around my house and shop even the high ones with an extension, I’m impressed! Our Beginnings

I like to say that Proterra kind of fell in our lap. Years ago, my business partner Danny and I were helping our friend, Ben Tanner, grow one of his pest control companies in Texas. Danny and I told Ben that we wanted to start our own pest control company that offered world class customer service, eco friendly pest control and provided the most thorough service on the market.

Ben said, “How can I help” and just like that Ben became one of our key mentors and a partner in a pest control company named Natura pest control from years 2012 to 2017.

Because we had such a great working relationship with Ben Tanner, in 2020 Ben Tanner called us and asked if we would take over this Tricites, WA office. We said we would love to. And just a few weeks later we had an office in Tricities, WA. We chose to rebrand VEX to Proterra because it so spoke so naturally to our aspiration to be the safest. After all people shouldn’t have to worry about their kids or pets’ safety to get rid of the creepy-crawlies.

Our commitment is to offer best in class customer service, because people deserve to be treated well. We are also committed to being the safest, to provide the most complete service, and to be the easiest work with. Maintaining these commitments is an ongoing process and its never done.
